πŸŽ“ Feminist Studies Mentorship Programme


Launching October 2019 | Now in its Sixth Year
The Centre for Transnational Development and Collaboration (CTDC) is proud to announce the launch of its formal Feminist Studies Mentorship Programme, a continuation of our long-standing commitment to producing intersectional feminist knowledge through academic and grassroots-centred approaches.
β€œWe see mentorship as an act of careβ€”a space for mutual learning, co-creation, and solidarity.”


πŸ“˜ Programme Overview
CTDC will offer six selected candidates a free, one-year mentorship, with the potential for renewal.
The programme includes:
🧭 Monthly one-on-one supervisory meetings
✍️ Academic writing support and guidance
🀝 Co-authorship and publication opportunities
πŸ“’ Support for research dissemination

Mentorship will be led by CTDC co-directors Dr. Nour Abu-Assab and Dr. Nof Nasser-Eddin, based on thematic alignment.

Participants may focus on one or more of the following themes:

β€’ Decoloniality and Decolonising Methods
β€’ Feminist Methodologies and Knowledge Production

β€’ Queer Theory, Gender Performances, Masculinities

β€’ Race, Ethnicity, Nationalism, and Transnationalism
β€’ Social Justice (Gender, Sexual, Reproductive)
β€’ Pedagogy, Informal Education, and Activist Mobilising
